Hi there! I’m glad you’re here. I’d love to invite you to join over 31,000 women who come here for honest conversations that actually help—from simplifying daily chaos, to addressing the real issues affecting women today, to creating space for what matters when society expects us to do it all.

As the founder of Simplified® and author of twelve bestselling books, I've helped hundreds of thousands of women reclaim their time and sanity. My insights on women's issues have been featured in Forbes, Glamour, and other major publications, and as the writer of the #1-ranked parenting Substack in the US, I deliver weekly content that makes readers feel seen, understood, and equipped.

"Emily's newsletter is the one email I never miss. Her blend of practical solutions and thought-provoking insights about the systems affecting women has completely changed how I approach both my daily schedule and my long-term goals." — Sarah T., subscriber since 2023

"I've followed Emily for years, but her Substack takes everything deeper. The community discussions alone are worth the subscription." — Melissa R., working mom of two

A Bit About Me

I'm Emily Ley, founder of Simplified®—a premium brand of planners and organizational tools you can find online and in Target, Walmart, Office Depot, and Staples. For almost two decades, I've been developing systems to help busy women cut through the noise and focus on what's essential.

Beyond products, I'm passionate about tackling the real challenges women face. My work explores everything from the mental load of motherhood to purpose driven business to systems that weren't designed with us in mind. This advocacy has led me to speak at events nationwide, sharing insights on work-life balance, entrepreneurship, and intentional living.

I was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Studer Community Institute, serve on the Board of Advisors for the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, and was recently inducted into the University of West Florida College of Business Hall of Fame.

When I'm not writing or building Simplified, I'm in Pensacola with my husband Bryan and our three kids—Brady and twins Tyler and Caroline—probably trying to figure out what's for dinner just like you.
